About Maddy
My Floral Journey
It all began in 2018 when I interned with a wedding designer and planner in Seattle. From there, I started designing for friends’ weddings, and in 2020, I moved to Boise, ID and officially launched my own floral business. Since then, I’ve been honored to bring couples’ floral dreams to life while also preserving meaningful moments through pressed flower art.
My Unique Approach
Sustainability is at the heart of everything I do. I prioritize sourcing flowers from local Boise farms, which means they are fresher, longer-lasting, and full of life—allowing me to design arrangements that feel natural and effortless. My approach to floristry is rooted in color, texture, and movement, ensuring that every piece I create looks like it was meant to be there.
About Life
When I’m not surrounded by flowers, you can usually find me sipping a honey cinnamon cap at Slow By Slow Coffee with my sweet baby girl. (come say hi!) My husband and I also love exploring the outdoors—whether it’s river rafting, rock climbing, or enjoying everything Boise has to offer. At home, we’re big fans of watching Lord of the Rings, hosting game nights, and cooking together. Our lives are filled with love, creativity, and a LOT of tiny clothes in every shade of pink and yellow.
What Makes Me Different?
Other than being a “4” on the enneagram? Just kidding, I’d say that my background as a wedding florist gives me a unique advantage when pressing flowers. I know how to arrange them in a way that feels fluid and organic, so when I press and preserve them, they retain their natural beauty rather than looking stiff or out of place. Each preserved piece is thoughtfully designed with the same artistic care as a fresh bouquet.
